Meet Dr. Carter

Dr. Jodianne Carter is a board-certified ophthalmologist and has been practicing with Heart of America Eye Care since 2001. She graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City's six-year medical program with a bachelor of arts degree in biology and chemistry in 1991 and her doctor of medicine degree in 1992. Dr. Carter graduated with distinction and earned the Janet M. Glasgow American Medical Women's Association Scholarship Achievement Citation. In 1993 she completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Missouri Kansas City and an ophthalmology residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996.
